Books listed in this guide for 3rd and 4th graders include works of fiction that are at a higher reading level than those included in the PK-2nd lists, as well as non-fiction, biographies, and picture books of interest to children in these grades. If your child needs support reading any of these titles, we encourage you to read to them. Even though your child is reading independently, reading aloud to children of all ages can help them master comprehension skills and see the joy their parents and other role models find in reading.
